  • CanSkate is a dynamic learn-to-skate program which has been created based on Sport Canada's long term athletic development (LTAD) principals.  The focus is on fun, participation and basic skill development needed to take part in any ice sport or to skate recreationally.  
  • The program is for beginners of ALL ages and is taught  by NCCP-trained professional coaches, assisted by trained program assistants.

The Competitive Dance Program is focused on developing skating teams for competition. It runs Monday to Friday mornings from 6:30AM to 8:20.
The session starts with 1/2 hour stroking session which is followed by focused dance training for individuals and teams.

Freeskaters

Freeskaters who are looking to improve their skating skills may also sign up for this session and do the first half hour of stroking before moving to the Don Jackson Rink at 7:00 for freeskating.
